Respected Sir,

Right now i am working in a MNC company i want to join indian army for sure but my DOB is not suiting any kind of army jobs because i tried for SSC but at that time my age was 26 ,After that only i came to know that the age limit is upto 25 years .

So, Kindly help me to join Indian Army i have NCC "B" Certificate and "C" Certificate as well my DOB is 16-08-1984

Definetly your age limit is somewhat up so as to join defence forces but that strictly doesn't implies that you are no more eligible to join Indian Army or any other defence forces.

Your eligibility would be strictly depend upon your educational qualification which you should mention while querying.

Well, you can join Education, Meteriology or Administration department provided you full the eligibility criteria. As per eligibility guidelines, the candidate must have Post Graduation (PG) degree in the subjects as per notification and minimum age acceptable is for 28 Years as on the date of joining. Candidates with CPL licence are given prefrence in AirForce.


Other than this you may join Technical department as an Engineer. For that you must have BE/B-Tech degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical engineering with at least 60% in the subjects as per notification. Age eligibility is same as stated above.

HI,
I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for joining Indian Army though you have N.C.C certificate because your age is above 24 year.

Hello Sir,
I am 25 years old currently working in the United Kingdom.
I completed my B.E in computer engineering from mumbai university and completed my Masters from United Kingdom.
Will I be eligible to join the indian army or defence at this age and with this qualification?

HI,
Firstly I am happy that you want to serve the Nation.
You are not eligible for Indian army after the age of 25.
So better you join Private sector in India.

i did mba major in finance and currently im doing company Secreatry course(CS) my date of birth is 26/02/1987 so at this age and with this qulification is there any post in any dept. of defence where i can apply?

Wow....the Indian Army is quite strict about age....may I know why? I am 26 and have immense respect for the Indian Army. Have always wanted to join the Army but because very possessive parents, couldn't. But, at 26, still wonder if I still can. I hold an associates degree in aviation maintenance technology from the USA.

Dear friend if your a engineering degree / LLB/ LLM/ M.Sc /MA holder than you can join army by clearing CDS exam conducted by UPSC then SSB/SSC camp

the age limit for BE /LLB/LLM /MA / MSC degree holder is 21yrs to 27 yrs
