NDA stands for National Defence Academy

After passing NDA you can join
Indian Mlitary Academy
Indian Airforce Academy
Indian Navy Academy

You must complete 12th to write NDA Exam
Even being in 12th class also you can write NDA exam
The age limit for joining Defence through NDA is 16 1/2 - 19 years
There is no age relaxations given

Age limit to apply for the NDA exams
Minimum 16.5 years

Education:
Indian Army- 12th class or Intermediate Pass in any stream
Indian Airforce and Indian Navy Wing- 12th class or Intermediate Pass.In class 12th you should have studied the subjects Physics and Maths.

Next NDA exams would be held in April 2014

Only Candidates born between 2nd January 1996 to 1st July 1998 can apply for these exams

Male candidates are only allowed to apply for the NDA exams

It's really a great thought to choose NDA(National Defence Academy).

For this exam,according to the present rule your age should be between 16.5-19years.

Educational Qualification

-You should have cleared intermediate from the recognized college

-If you are willing to join Indian Air Force or Indian Navy
then you must have cleared Intermediate with physics and mathematics.


Eligibility Criteria

-age should be between 16.5-19 years

-should have passed 12th standard in Indian Army

-only unmarried candidates are allowed

-should be physically and mentally fit.

Part B - General Knowledge (Maximum Marks 400)

Height of NDA Exam:-

For Army Wings - 157.5 cms
For Air Force - 162.5 cms
For Naval Academy - 157 cms

Weight of NDA Exam:-

For Army & Naval Academy : 46-49 kgs.
For Air force :48-52 kgs.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II to join Indian Army, navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

Age limit for NDA is 16.5 to 19 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved category candidate.

Apart from this the eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried Male candidate only having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

NDA known as Natinal Defence Academy exams are held twice a year in the months of March & August respectively.

Eligibility-:

Age Limit-

The candidate must be of minimum 16 1/2 years of age and maximum of below 19 years of age.

Candidate must be Unmarried and should remain till the end of the training provided they are selected.

The educational qualifications are-:

Army-> 12th passed of 10+2 pattern from a recognized board.

Air Force & Navy-> The candidate must be 12th passed of 10+2 pattern with Physics and Mathematics as their subjects.

* age criteria - 16.5 to 19 years.
* unmarried males can attend the test.
* you can attend the exam even in the same year of board exam..

Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination:-

1. Candidates must have a 12th standard with PCM subjects from any recognized institutes
2. Not PCM Candidate are applicable for Indian Army post.
3. Candidates age should between 16.5 years to 19 years
4. Candidates should be a citizen of India
5. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination

NDA I exam date is over so you can try for NDA II Exam.

NDA II Exam Dates :-

Age Limit To Appear For NDA

The limitations for appearing in the UPSC conducted National Defence Academy Exam are as follows :

1) You must be an unmarried male candidate..

2) You have to be within the age limit of 16 1/2 years to 19 years..

3) The minimum educational qualification is to pass 12th from a recognized board..

4) To apply for Air Force and Navy..you must have done your 12th with Physics and Maths..

The 3 rounds that you need to clear for getting selected are :

1) Written Test

2) Personal Interview Round

3) Physical Examination Round

The written test will comprise of :
