If i choose bds after my 12th, how many years will it take to complete my studies and what will be further after bds? What is the enterance test to be written after 12th to do BDS?

You can have different options based on the stream of subjects you have chosen for higher secondary.To have BDS as your future option then you must be from the stream pure science which has subjects including physics,chemistry & biology.Mathematics[optional].You can write all the Medical entrance exams available and try to have good score for getting Dental field.After MBBS the most valued one is Dentistry.So catch up with top scpers in entrance exams along with your higher secondary scores.Another way to get into BDS is through management quotas.This is where financial part comes.So better study well ,score in your entrance exams and obtain your seat as BDS student.

there is any seperate exam for bds after 12th?

if i get 60% marks in 12th standard and 98% in entrance so can i get admission in dentist course?

* Even BDS is expanding its scope these days much wider.

* You can opt for BDS course either in any of the two ways that is being mentioned below.

* The first is through the cut off marks that you have obtained in your higher secondary examination. So, depending upon the marks you have secured, you would get a particular grade of college.

* The second is through the all India level national medical entrance examination that is being conducted by the medical council of India everyone for the allocation of seats in top medical universities all over the nation.

* For the second option, you will have to prepare for the AIPMT examination and based upon the scores and caste reservation you will secure a seat in dental colleges.

* After completing your graduates in dentistry, you may either opt for higher studies or even you may set up a dental clinic which would really gain you some high bucks.

Bachelor of Dental Surgery is a medical course.Total duration of this course is 4.5 years and 6 months of Internship from recognized medical college.In order to do BDS (Bachelor in Dental Surgery) you will have to appear in CBSE NEET Medical Entrance Exam.To apply for this entrance test you will require top meet these Eligibility conditions :

Educational qualification :

• You should have a pass out Intermediate degree of Science stream from recognized board/university.
• Your subject combination in science stream should be Physics,Chemistry and Biology.

Age :

• To apply for this entrance test your minimum age should be 17 years.
• Your age should not be above 25 years.

Marks required :

• A minimum mark’s required by General/OBC category candidates is 50% in Inter.
• A minimum mark’s required by SC/ST category candidates is 45% in Inter.

Note :

• Those candidates who are in final year will also be able to apply for this entrance test.
• You will not be able to apply for this entrance test more then 3 times.

Exam Pattern :

• This entrance test will include objective type questions.
• Total number of questions will be 180.
• Total duration of this entrance test will be 3 hours.
• All questions will be from Inter level.

Exam Syllabus :

• Biology (Botany + Zoology) - 90 Questions.
• Physics - 45 Questions.
• Chemistry - 45 Questions.

If you want to become Dentist then you must study Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2 from a recognized Board of Education.

After completion of 10+2 with PCB you have to appear for entrance examination for admission into BDS (Bachelor in Dental Surgery).

You must be very well prepared for the entrance examination then only you will be able to get admission into a top Dental college.

The fee in Government colleges is very less compared to private colleges so you must aim to get a very good rank so that you get a Government college.

The questions in the entrance will be of objective type nature and will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery

If you want to become a dentist after 12th, first thing is that you should have studied Biology in intermediate.

You have to clear an entrance exam for admission in this course.

There are several exam for medical and dental courses like -

CPMT
NEET
Other state level entrance exams

To be eligible for these entrance exams -

You should have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognised board.

Minimum age should be 17 years.

after doing that you have to do BDS course

After 12th how many years of dental course will be to become a successful dentist?

sir plz tell me about the fee structure of any medical course after 12 it should be minimum as i cant afford too much but i want to make my future bright in medical field you can also mail me at [email protected]

I want to have a bright future therefore i want to do a course which can make me eligible to earn high salary but the course must be less in fee because i can't afford expensive courses. Plz give me some idea of cheap courses which have bright future in medical field and their process after 12th.

What is a diploma course in dentle can i do it after 12th and will i be called a graduate after doing diploma in dental ???

When will this bds exam take place in which month? Can i give bds exam just after my 12?
