Re: What can I do after BSc in Mathematics?
hello aspirants,
BSc in maths would open a platform for you to go for PG in maths such as MSc(maths). you may also go for M.Tech if you are somehow familiar with programming concepts. apart from study if you wish to work , in may go for govt services once you are over with your graduation. career choice depends on your interest and preference for various domains. Mathematics is one of the oldest of sciences. Mathematicians use mathematical theory, computational techniques, algorithms and the latest computer technology to solve economic, scientific, engineering, physics, and business problems. The work of mathematicians falls into two broad classes — theoretical (pure) mathematics and applied mathematics. Professionals often are a part of an interdisciplinary team that may include economists, engineers, computer scientists, physicists and technicians. You can look for careers in statistics, actuarial sciences, mathematical modeling, and cryptography; for teaching; as well as a research career in mathematics or statistics. A strong background in mathematics is also necessary for research in many areas of computer science, social science, and engineering.Hope this helps. All the best! |
