Re: What can I do to get a clerk job?
Hello,
Already your 12th marks are good. So why do you want to join a bank as a clerk. The salary will not be nice. Also your chances of career growth will be diminished. So it is better to go for graduation in arts right now. Normally arts graduation is very difficult from the point of view of securing marks. So if you need take good tutors so that you secure good marks(as good as 60% or more). After that go for government school teaching jobs. The chances for career growth will be much more. You will get a good income, a secured life and a life without any professional hazard. So think about it. |

Re: What can I do to get a clerk job?
I think the best option for you is to appear for the IBPS Clerk Exam. The advantage would be that a total of 19 PSU banks accept the score of IBPS Clerk Exam. If you managed to clear the exam with good score, you will be able to apply for the job in any of the 19 PSU Banks.
However for that you will have to complete graduation. There has been a change is rules recently and from now onwards, 10+2 candidates are not eligible for IBPS Clerical job. You need to have a minimum qualification of graduation to apply for the exam. Therefore I will suggest that you complete the graduation first before applying. You can complete graduation in any stream and yet apply for the exam. After graduation you will also have the option to apply for the Bank PO Exam which is also conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Service (IBPS). In these two exams I will recommend that you appear for the Bank PO Exam. Here is the criteria for both exams. IBPS Clerk Eligibility 1. A graduation degree in any stream. 2. Age limit is 18 to 28 years. 3. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC. 4. While 5 years relaxation for SC/ST. 5. You must have computers as one of the subject in High School or College. IBPS Bank PO Eligibility 1. A bachelor degree in any stream. 2. The age limit is 20 to 30 years with, 3. 3 years relaxation for OBC and, 4. 5 years relaxation for SC/ST. List of 19 PSU Banks Allahabad Bank Andhra Bank Bank of Baroda Bank of Maharashtra Bank of India Central Bank of India Canara Bank Dena Bank Corporation Bank Indian Overseas Bank Indian Bank Punjab National Bank Oriental Bank of Commerce Syndicate Bank Punjab & Sind Bank United Bank of India Union Bank of India Vijaya Bank UCO Bank |
