Is IBPS clerk good for job?

I have completed B.Tech in computer science and technology. I have passed the CWE for IBPS clerk. Is it good to do this job when you have this qualification? what is the scope for progress after entering this field?

Even though you have done BTECH, but since you have qualified in the IBPS Clerks exams you should join the job

Starting salary is low that is around Rs 16000 per months
Also the position is of clerks

But after joining this position you can try for the below exams:
>> IBPS PO
>> IBPS Specialist Officers

Eligibilty for the IBPS PO exams:
Graduation Pass
Age should be between 20 and 30 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

Eligibity to apply for the IBPS Specialist Officers Exams- IT Officer Scale 1 is:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics and Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation

Age should be between 20 and 35 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

It is all depends upon your own interest. If you have profound interest to work with Banking sector, then IBPS Clerk is a good choice for you.

In contrast to that, if you want to go for job opportunities in IT sector, then you can try for jobs in various IT companies like
Oralce
Microsoft
Google
Dell
Delloite
TCS
Infosys etc.

My suggestion would be to go with Banking sector itself. Because you will be having guaranteed future in this job.

Moreover job security is there.

In the case of IT job, the job security is not all will be there until and unless the company is running from so many years.

In case if recession takes place, IT will people will loose the job opportunities. But such a kind of thing will not happen for banking job.

Make an analysis of yourself of what is best suited you and opt for the job accordingly.

Wish you all the best.
