What can I study at the age of 36 years and on the basis of 12th to become a Lawyer?

My age is 36 years and my 12th result is 42%. I have not studied further after my 12th. Now, I wish to do a degree course in Law and become a Lawyer. Is there any course in Law which I can study now and become a Lawyer?

The best approach is to pursue bachelor's degree first in any discipline from a recognized university of India.

2. Graduates from any recognized university can apply for LLB course from top universities of India. There is no upper age limit for LLB course after bachelor's degree.

Try to secure better percentage of marks in bachelor's degree.

For CLAT exam after 12th, minimum percentage of marks in 12th is 45%. In case of SC/ST candidates, it is 40%.

CLAT is Common law Admission Test for admission of 12th passed candidates in top law colleges of India.

You can go for LLB course , you can choose regular colleges which accepts you score percentage because i think 50% minimum is required but you can search for colleges both distance and regular with this score and age is not a factor.
You should be careful while choosing the colleges that you should check whether they have proper accrediations.

Beind a Class 12th passed candidate and interested in pursuing degree course in law and to become a lawyer later on, you are eligible to opt for integrated LLB course i.e; B.A. LLB, B.Sc.LLB, etc. on the basis of your academic qualification irrespective of your age.

Further, the duration of integrated LLB course is 5 years while the best college options for pursuing these courses are National Law University, BHU, and other central university offering the same course.

The eligiblility to get admission in the 5 year integrated Law course is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board.

The minimum age limit is 17 years while there is no upper age limit.

The required minimum aggregate to appear in the examination varies with institutions.

So, visit the official website of the institution to get detail about the admission procedure.
