Re: What is the difference between MBA and HR? Which are the various sections in MBA?
The acronym for MBA is Masters in Business Administration. Also the acronym for MIB is Masters in International Business. Both the courses in terms of value of the degree are considered the same. The difference comes in curriculum taught. In the Business Administration course the students are taught to more on the standards adopted in the country. The International Business course is more in terms of the international standards. By doing a Business Administration course the students will be given a brief area on all the aspects involved in an organisation. In the International Business course more stress is on giving students the idea of how the international business impacts the business.

Re: What is the difference between MBA and HR? Which are the various sections in MBA?
Dear..
You are looking very confused about MBA. MBA is a two year post graduate degree which can be done from any university as well as from any private AICTE approved university. It is a two year duration course and in those two years you have to take a specialization so that you can get a suitable job in that particular segment. You said you want to know the difference between MBA and HR then let me tell you that HR stands for Human resource and it is also one of the specialization which i was talking about in the previous paragraph. Major specialization in MBA is as follows :- 1. MBA in Marketing 2. MBA in Human Resource 3. MBA in Finance 4. MBA in Information technology 5. MBA in Telecom 6. MBA in International Business 7. MBA in Agri Business 8. MBA in Operations 9. MBA in Retail 10. MBA in Entrepreneurship 11. MBA in Hospitality 12. MBA in Hospital Management 13. MBA in Pharma Management 14. MBA in Petroleum and oil management 15. MBA in Export Import 16. MBA in Banking 17. MBA in MBA in Insurance 18. MBA in Rural Management 19. MBA in Co operative Management 20. MBA in Sports Management Hope it will help Cheers...!!! |

Re: What is the difference between MBA and HR? Which are the various sections in MBA?
Hi
The major fields in MBA are as follows - Finance Management - Marketing Management - Operation Management - Strategy management - IT/ITES management - Human Resource Management Many colleges offer many fields but they are simply the derivative of the basic fields mentioned above. for example, few college may offer supply chain management, but supply chain is part of Operation Management Thus, HR ( Human Resource ) is just a field of MBA like other field All the best |

Re: What is the difference between MBA and HR? Which are the various sections in MBA?
Dear,
MBA is a master degree program and stand for Master in Business management. As it's name reflects the meaning of the course. I mean MBA is just the detailed study of management in various fields. There are various fields in MBA that one can choose. So,below I'm giving you the name of some major fields in MBA; 1) Finance management 2) Marketing management 3) IT management 4) Human resource management(HR) 5) Entrapraneurship 6) Hospitality 7) Strategy management 8) Operation management 9) Finance management 10) International business and management As you can see that Human resource(HR) is just a field or stream of MBA.So Now there should be no doubt between MBA and HR. Therefore,We can say that MBA is a course and HR is just one if it's stream. I hope it will help you. |
