CAT stands for Common Admission Test.
ICET stands for Integrated Common Entrance Test.

There is so much difference between these 2 exams.

CAT is a national wide Entrance Exam where as ICET is a state level Entrance Exam.

The difficulty level of CAT Exam is high when compared to ICET.

The competition is limited to candidates of that particular state only for IECT Exam where as for CAT Exam, the competition is there at national level.

By cracking CAT Exam, you can get admission in top B-Schools but by cracking ICET Exam, you will be able to get admission only in universities and other affiliated colleges.

Soon after the completion of MBA course also, the candidates from B-Schools will be given preference than the candidates of MBA from local colleges.

The salaries are also high for the candidates after MBA from B-Schools.

So, my suggestion would be to prepare for CAT Exam only if you want to have great career scope.

I have just completed my undergraduate and i didn't write CAT entrance exam.
I am interesting to study in IIMS but I don't have that much of knowledge in english sir...
What can I do?
sir /madam suggest me plzzz
Shall I wait for 1 year to study in IIMS ..
Or can I write ICET exam it will be conducted on next month...
But I am not interest to study in state wide...
My family is from below poverty line and i have a lot of financial problems...
Can u tell me plzz can I wait for one year to get a seat in IIMS or not ..
Plzz sir I am in confusing ....
