Re: What to do to join DRDO in future?
dear friend,
I first appreciate your aim, & want to give some tips to you. As you are preparing for IIT-JEE. Then first give full concentration on IIT-JEE , then after selection in IIT you should choose either Electronics & communication/tele communication engineering or mechanical engineering as the specialization of your B.Tech. Because from these department it is easy to enter in DRDO. & then after completion of your B.Tech you can easily apply for DRDO. As this is the company of defense sector, so you should take well preparation for it. good luck. |

Re: What to do to join DRDO in future?
Bro i would suggest you to first focus on your 11th and JEE preparations. Its good to aim but yeah dont think much.
Anyways if you want to join DRDO you have to appear for UPSC exam followed by an interview. If you pass it then you will get a job. But all this is after you graduate. So work hard for JEE and try to get into it |

Re: What to do to join DRDO in future?
Being a part of DRDO is not that worrying issue. it takes very simple process.
Eligibility for DRDO jobs ~ B.Tech (MECH/EEE/ECE/EIE/AERO/etc.,) with 65% and above. So what you need to worry about is your graduation. If you get admission into IIT you need not at all wory about career because IIT's are the most promising career building organizations. After being a part of it you can get into any organization in the india at finger tips. So, concentrate on IITJEE preparation. Aim high and achieve it. Best Regards, MASK |

Re: What to do to join DRDO in future?
Department of Defence Research and Development of Ministry of Defence are the operating authority of DRDO. The institute has devoted its operations to augment self-sufficiency in areas like Defence Systems design & development sensors, weapons, platform and similar gears for our Defence forces.
DRDO offers two types of entry schemes - Direct entry Scientist ‘B’. - Lateral entry Scientist ‘C’, ‘D’, ‘E’, ‘F’, OR ‘G’. For the Direct entry Scientist ‘B’ scheme a candidate must pass the Scientist Entry Test (SET) and then go through the interview procedure. Students from IIT’s, NIT’s, IISC, IT BHU and other top institution, campus selection are another option. In the Lateral entry Scientist scheme, students can register for the ROSSA scholarship aptitude, lateral entry recruitment or go through Talent Search Scheme for NRIs. The minimum qualification required to enter DRDO is a first class Master’s degree in science or 1st class in engineering. MA holders in Maths, Statistics, Operational research and Psychology can also apply in DRDO as scientist ‘B’. |

Re: What to do to join DRDO in future?
now you are a student of class eleven. so DRDO is far away from you. first study carefully and pass 12 with a very good marks and also appear in some entrance examination on class 12. appear in IIT JJE and secure a good rank. after that take admission in IIT and complete your B.Tech.
unfortunately if you are unable to do good rank in IIT JEE then try for other engineering entrance examination. you have to do engineering or you have study in techniacl line to join in DRDO. after graduation you may do your master degree and then p.hd. after graduation or higher study try for DRDO. appear in examination conducted by DRDO. you may know DRDO examination details from the website http://rac.in best wishes for your future. |

Re: What to do to join DRDO in future?
Hiiiiiiiiii
It good to know your interest and knowledge in this age of your life.... you need to complete your B.tech in any branch with a percentage of 65% and then you can apply for SET exam.and need to crack it for that i can suggest you to prepare GATE exam this will help not only to crack DRDO but also helpfull for many other government organization....so go for it. another thing is you try to crack jee and enter in iit's because in these organization they will come for direct requirement and put directly to their organization...these are the following organization where DRDO come on-campus-------------- all institutions of IIT system, IISc Bangalore, National Institutes of Technology(Regional Engineering Colleges) and Central Universities viz. Delhi University (DCE, NSIT), Aligarh Muslim University, Jamia Millia Islamia University, Allahabad Univesity, Tezpur University, North Eastern Hill University(Shillong, Meghalaya) . Depending on the requirements every year, selection is made in different subjects normally during July-December. Even there are walkins after b.tech need to keep eye on drdo website........ All the Best |
