IGNOU Management Programmes

Indira Gandhi National Open University(IGNOU) has fixed the maximum duration of Management programmes to a maximum duration of eight years.
All old 3.81 lakh students of Management programmes of IGNOU and MBA(B&F) have been informed to successfully complete all the requirements for the award of Degrees/ Diploma by December 2011 term-end examination. If they fail, they will have to seek fresh admission to complete the left-over courses.
The Circular letter dated 1st February, 2008sent to 3.81 lakh students registered upto the year 2007, can be downloaded from the IGNOU website : www.ignou.ac.in(Students Zone).

I started IGNOU MBA and completed 4 exams .Thereafter i could not register /study further. Can i restart my studies.Please where to contact and what is is the rule for my kind of students.

A person who is doing MBA course from IGNOU . when he need to be active for symester fee and exam fee.

there are unsufficent information are avilabe so that is why I have missed my this symester fee. and I have lost my six month.

I want to know one more thing that the course duration is 2.6 years. but if you have missed any symester or unforchutnatly if you are not able to clear any
symester papar so how may year you can carry your registration

if some one can guide me .

the duration of MBA program form IGNOU is 2 years but,
in case if someone failed to complete his/her course within time
then IGNOU has fixed the maximum time period for the course
is 8 years.....

2 1/2 (two and a half years) i.e. 5 semesters

how many semesters I need to complete to do finish my MBA (PGDMM)?

I have been started my IGNOU MBA in the year 2006 Dec. I wrote exam upto 2008 June after that i couldnot write exams. Can i re register for MBA and continue my studies.

Minimum Age: No bar

Eligibility:
Graduation in any discipline with 50 per cent marks of General Category and 45 per cent marks for reserved category.

Clearance of OPEN MAT conducted by IGNOU.

The candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test for admission into Management Programme conducted by institutions like CAT, MAT, and State level tests need not appear in OPEN MAT.

The duration of MBA IGNOU is around 2.5 years. It is the best distance education mode MBA that you have in India. You need to clear the OPENMAT examinations held twice a year in February and in August. If you have 50% or more marks in OPENMAT your name will be shortlisted for a further interview. You must get 50% or more in your graduation, to be able to go for OPENMAT. You will need to submit Rs.550 to get the OPENMAT form from their official website www.ignou.ac.in. So all the best for your future.
