I am an BBA student from indore.I want to know the education requirements for the railway jobs and want to know the names of the exams for the railways posts and jobs

Railway jobs are the central government jobs.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE INDIAN RAILWAY JOBS :

1. Person should have completed the 10th or 12th or any higher education.

2. Minimum 55% aggregate in academics.

3. Age limit for the railway jobs is 18 - 30 years.

4. Person should be from indian citizen only.

5. Reservation is available as per the government rules.

You are not eligible for the railway jobs without completing the B.Com degree( 2nd year ) but you can apply for railway jobs based on the 10th and 12th qualification.
Since you completed your graduation in BBA,you can also apply for the railway jobs based on the 10th and 12th standards.

DIFFERENT FIELDS IN RAILWAY SECTOR WHICH YOU CAN APPLY ARE :

1. Assistant Loco Pilot.

2. Railway Driver.

3. Railway Ticket Collector.

4. Railway Clerk.

5. Railway Constable & Sub-Inspector.

6. Junior engineer ( for engineering ,diploma candidates ).

7. Sr.Section engineer.

8. Station Master.

SELECTION PROCESS IN RAILWAY SECTOR :

1. Written test.

2. Medical Test & Certificate Verification.

Firstly a RRB(Railway Recruitment Board) examination is conducted every year. RRB Exam Applications complete in all respects along with required enclosures should be sent by post to the concerned Railway Recruitment Board.

There are various posts available in Railways and each and every post has its own eligibility criteria.

In case of applying for smaller posts the eligibility is as follows:

The candidate should have completed 12th class with a minimum of 55% throughout the academics from a recognized board in India.

The age limit for applying the post is 18 years to 30 years

There are reservations for the posts you are going to apply according to the rules.

The posts you can apply are as follows:

Railway Driver

Railway Clerk

Assistant Loco Pilot

Junior Engineer

Station Master

most of the vacancy in railways are of group D, notifications of group D posts are many.. but we cant get notifications of Group B or C. All dis are of sports, scouts n guides, cultural quota.. Can we have some information of this groups about general, means accept quotas..?
