Can I apply for the post of Stenographer as I am Diploma holder in Computer Science? The educational qualification for the job is 10+2 or its equivalent. So, am I eligible?

As per the SSC Stenographer eligibility criteria; Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent course from a recognised board. As diploma courses are equivalent to 10+2 so you are eligible for this particular post. Sometimes for Group D Stenographer SSC requires a 10th pass qualification.

For the post of Stenographer, you must be a pass in 10+2 examination. Age limit is 18-27 years for Grade D and 18-30 years for Grade C posts. You c an get age relaxation based on the reserved categories or service rendered in central government.
