What is the eligibility criteria to apply for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF)?
What are the educational requirements to apply for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) examination? Is there any height relaxation for Schedule Tribe candidates who belongs to North East states in CAPF exam?

The eligibility to appear for CAPF examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.
The age limit is 20-25 years with relaxation in age limit for the reserved category. There is no relaxation in height for the ST candidates or to those who belong to North-East region of India. The examination is conducted by UPSC. Examination is conducted in three stages as :- Written. Physical. Interview. For more information about the examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

CAPF recruitment examination is conducted by UPSC. The examination is conducted every year for selection in 5 CAPFs.
The eligibility to appear in examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree with minimum qualifying marks. The age limit is 20-25 years. Entrance examination is conducted for selection. There is no relaxation in height for ST who belongs to the North East region . Eligibility criteria for CAPF:-
Candidate must have the age of 20 years and must not have the age of 25 years. The upper age limit is relaxable up to a maximum of 5 years if the candidate belonging to Sc / St / ex serviceman. The upper age limit is relaxable up to a maximum of three years if the candidate belonging to OBC. A candidate must have a bachelor's degree from any of the government recognised university or Institute. |

CAPF stands for Central Armed Police Forces.
UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) conducts CAPF examination The eligibility criteria required for the CAPF exam are mentioned below:- 1) Candidates must have completed their Bachelor Degree in any stream from any recognised university. 2) Age limit:- 20-25 years. 3) There is an upper age limit for OBC/SC/ST candidates. 4) Nationality:- Indian. |
