I am a domicile candidate for The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) UPSC exam 2018. My date of birth is 1992. Will I get upper age relaxation as I have crossed it?

CAPF entrance examination is conducted by UPSC for recruitment as Officers in CAPF.

The eligibility to appear for entrance examination is:-

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognized university.

The age limit is 20-25 years as on 01st August of the year of appearing for the examination.

So, you will be not eligible to appear for examination in 2018.

There is relaxation in the upper age limit of 3 years for OBC and for SC/ST it is 5 years.

The upper age relaxation benefit is applicable to candidates of reserved category only.

The general age limit is 20-25 years. SC/ST candidates get five years upper age relaxation and OBC candidates get three years upper age relaxation.

You can not apply for CAPF 2018 exam if you are from open category.
