AIPVT stands for All India Pre-Veterinary Test.
It is the common entrance examination for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. (Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry) course for filling up 15% of total number of seats on merit in each veterinary college of India. The eligibility criteria required for the exam are following:- -The candidate must have passed 10+2 /Intermediate Science Examination in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for general category and 40% for OBC/SC/ST candidates to become eligible for the AIPVT exam. -THe candidate age limit should be in between 17 years to 25 years.Upper age limit is relaxed for OBC/SC/ST candidates by 5 years. |

Much Mandatorily qualified class 12th or equivalent examination with an aggregate 50% marks in english, physics, chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology.
