To do specialization in medical microbiology you have to get a bachelor's degree in microbiology first. To do a B.Sc degree in microbiology you need to complete 10+2 with physics, chemistry and biology with minimum 50% of marks in PCM taken together. The cut-off marks varies from one college to the other and in the top ones it is usually above 90+ for general category candidates.

After completing graduation you can then go for post graduation in Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology and choose any one of the specialization subject:-
  • Medical microbiology
  • Food Microbiology
  • Industrial Microbiology
  • Bioinformatics
  • Microbial-Technology
  • Clinical Research
  • Molecular biology
  • Biochemistry
  • Forensic Science
Following are some of the colleges where you can apply for B.Sc in microbiology:-
  • Lovely Professional University
  • Institute of Science, Nirma University
  • Maharajah's Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagaram
  • Doon Paramedical College
  • Christ College
  • Madina Degree College
  • Scottish Church College
  • Sir Syed Institute for Technical Studies
  • St. Mary's College For Women
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
