i hav cleared 12th with 65%. i hav taken admission for BSC in biotechnology.what is the scope in it?what should i do after completing BSC?Should i take Btech after 12th?

hi frend,congratulations as you got good percentage in +2.i think in full confusion..you are confused ...so.do not be confused ..okay..you will have a bright future..have you written cet for professional courses for courses like B.tech..if you get good rank..you just prefer...B.tech,B.pharm,B.e(biotechnology)...THEY ARE THE DIRECT PATHS...boitechnology is the up-coming branch...it is developing in india...but ....it would be the lataest and the influential branch of science in the comin future...so,all the best frend

Yes this sector is growing its wings in various sectors, as it is new it is providing serices. In all there are 280 companies, it comprises of clinical research, drug discivery, bio informatics, pharmaceuticals, etc but for brightening your future you should first get yours masters degree.

B.Sc in biotechnology is a general study course, whereas B.Tech in this field is involving technology also and it is an engineering course.
You have good marks in 12th. So B.Tech would preferably be better for you which will give more options to you.

After graduation in biotechnology, you can do master's i.e. M.Tech in biotech or further research works in clinical research, microbiological research etc.

Biotech engineers can join food processing industry, chemical industry, textile industry etc.
Also in genetic research, drug designing, molecular researches, biotechnologists have got very good job aspects.

no, you can not go for b tech because then you will have to give aieee or iit exam and you will come to 12th level. you can do msc in bio techology. it is also having good scope. you can try in delhi university as well.

there is good future for b.sc biotech..i think...you can not grasp....the biotechnology stream in B.E. means it is little bit tougher to you dear..dont worry..if you do m.sc biotechnology...there lots of chances...it is better option for you to build-up your career..all the best my dear friend...but one...our confidence is our asset...remember this...

the job opportunities are similar to BE in BioTech.. a lot of companies and also pharma industries are in INdia and abroad... BioCon is one of the famous organisation in India.

Since you like BSc biotech then you should go for it. My sister did BSc biotech and then MSc Biotech. Today she got placed in a well known company with a great salary package.

On the whole it depends on you. If you are too good then every other company would want you. So work hard and surely you will succeed

After BSc Biotech you can do MSc in Biotech,MBA in Biotech,MBA, civil services and many more

u can direct go for m.tech nano tech and see want u get in ur life increment in ur life ?

There are many areas where Biotechnologist can flourish. Stem cell techniques, Gene Therapy, Immuno-technologies, Genetic engineering, Tissue culture, Enzyme engineering, Biosensor etc... are different areas in biotechnology.
You can find employment opportunities in Pharma Company or bioprocessing industries, health care, laboratories, research or as faculty.

B.Sc in Biotechnology is a good life science course.
