What is the lower age limit for UPSC exams?
My present age is 17 years 4 months. In which year I will be eligible to apply for UPSC and State's PSC examination? What is the standard lower age limit? Is there any age relaxation for any caste category for UPSC?

UPSC conducts various examination. Civil Service is one of the most common examination.
So, if you want information about it, the lower age limit is 21 years as on 01st August of year of appearing in the examination. So, you are not eligible to appear in examination now. Examination is conducted in three stages for final selection. For more information visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

The standard age limit to apply for the Civil Services examination held by UPSC and hence generally known as UPSC examination is 21 years to 32 years as on the 1st August of the year of examination. Further, there is provision of upper age limit relaxation for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.
As far as the lower age limit of State PSC examinations is concerned then it usually varies from 18 years to 21 years for different state PSCs. So, as per your mentioned age, you will be eligible for appearing in the Civil Services examination for the first time in 2023 as far as the age criteria for appearing in the same examination is concerned. Lower Age limit for UPSC exams is 21 years. You will be eligible for UPSC and other State PSC exams after 4 years.
