Hi, could anybody please confirm me about the lower and upper age limit for female candidates for KVS PRT/TGT/PGT recruitment session 2020-21? Is there any age relaxation for any caste category candidates?

Age limit for female candidate for PGT & TRT is as following.

Lower age limit for both PGT & TGT is 21 years.
Upper age limit for PGT female candidate is 50 years.
Upper age limit for TGT female candidate is 45 years.
In Upper age 10 year age relaxation is included.

PGT - 40 years (maximum)
TGT - 35 years (maximum)
PRT - 30 years (maximum)
Age relaxation
* SC/ST – 5 years,
OBC – 3 year,
Women (only in teaching posts) – 10 years.
* KVS Employees – No Age Limit.
*Candidates with 3 years of experience in Government in the same or allied cadre = SC/ST - 10 years, OBC - 8 years,
General - 5 years.
* Persons ordinarily domiciled in State of Jammu & Kashmir during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 - 5 years
*PWD
SC/ST – 15 years
OBC – 13 years
General – 10 years

There is no any special age relaxation available for lady teacher in KVS.

Age limit:-

For PGT - 40 years

For PRT - 30 years.

As per Government of India rule, age relaxation criteria is as maintained below

Age relaxation:-

OBC - 3 years
SC/ST - 5 years
Women all categories - 10 years
PH candidates - 10 years
Ex - Serviceman - 3 years.

KVS Age limit:-

> PGT( post graduate teacher) - 40 years (women - relaxation of 10 years)

> TGT(trained graduate teacher) - 35 years (relaxation of 10 years is given to women candidates)

> PRT(primary teacher) - 30 years (relaxation of 10 years is given to women candidates)

In KVS ,age limit are as follows:-

1)Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)=40 years
2)Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)=35 years
3)Primary Teacher (PRT)=30 Years
*Yes ,there is age relaxation for special category mentioned below:-
a)Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe=5 years
b)domiciled in State of Jammu & Kashmir=5 years
c)Women (All Category) for teaching posts only except for the post of Principal & Vice Principal=10 years
d)KVS Employees=No age bar

POST - age limit
PGT -40years
TGT- 35 years
PRT - 30 years

Age limit of the different posts is different for KVS PGT its 40 years for TGT and Librarian it is 35 years and for PRT post it is 30 years.
