The Bank PO and Bank Clerk exams are conducted by 40 years old organization called Institute of Banking Personnel Services. Both these exams are conducted by IBPS and there are 19 banks from Public Sector that participates in it.

By participating in the exams, these banks hire candidates for the PO and Clerk jobs by considering their performance in the entrance exam by Institute of Banking Personnel Services.

Once you have cleared any of the two entrance exam, it becomes possible to apply for the job. Please remember that you can only apply once the bank issues a notification regarding the vacancies.
