BANK PO and Clerks exams are conducted by IBPS on behalf of 20 Nationalised banks
SBI conducts its own PO and Clerks exams. Age Limit for the IBPS PO & SBI PO exams is Minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years OBC candidates gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations. Age Limit for the IBPS CLERK exams is Minimum 20 years and Maximum 28 years OBC candidates gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations. Age Limit for the SBI CLERK exams is Minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 years OBC candidates gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations. |

The IBPS clerical examination wants an age limit of 18-28 years of age for general candidates.
For obc candidates, the relaxation of 3 years is given and their limit is 18-31 years while for the Sc st students, the relaxation is 5 years. For the PO exam, the age limit is between 21-30 years of age for general category and a relaxation of 3 & 5 years is given to the obc and sc st students respectively. Gud luck |

Every Year Banking examinations are conducted mainly for Clerical and PO posts. * The Institute Of Banking Personnel selection (IBPS) and The State Bank Of India mainly conducts the examinations every year. The Age Limit for both the posts differ from each other as follows : For Clerical Examination : 18-28 years if you are from General Category. For PO Examination : 21-30 if you are from General Category. There is also Relaxation in upper age provided to candidates who belong to Reserved Categories as mentioned below : For OBC category : 3 years For SC/ST category : 5 years. Bank P.O.(Probationary Officer) and Clerical Exam generally conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection).
Age criteria for Clerical Exam:- Should be within the age of 18 to 28 years with upper age relaxation for OBC candidate up to 3 years and up to 5 years for SC/ST candidate. Age Criteria for P.O. Exam:- Should be within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for OBC candidate up to 3 years and for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years. |

The Bank PO and Bank Clerk exams are conducted by 40 years old organization called Institute of Banking Personnel Services. Both these exams are conducted by IBPS and there are 19 banks from Public Sector that participates in it.
By participating in the exams, these banks hire candidates for the PO and Clerk jobs by considering their performance in the entrance exam by Institute of Banking Personnel Services. Once you have cleared any of the two entrance exam, it becomes possible to apply for the job. Please remember that you can only apply once the bank issues a notification regarding the vacancies. You will have to take all necessary documents and IBPS exam mark sheet along with it. Coming to the age limit, the criteria for age is same for both the exams including the relaxation. Please check out the criteria below. IBPS Bank Clerk/PO Criteria 1. To be eligible you should have Indian citizenship. 2. Bachelor's degree is necessary to apply. 3. For Bank PO you should have 60 percent marks in graduation. 4. No percentage criteria for the IBPS Clerk exam. 5. A certificate in Computer operating skills is also required. 6.
