I have completed my 3 years regular graduate degree course in BA English Literature. Now, can I apply for exam of Regional Transport Officer (RTO)? When and how to apply for it?

Through RTO exam, you can get job in anyone of the following post:

• Clerk post
• Assistant engineer post
• Judicial post

Qualifications Required

• To be eligible for clerk post you must be at least 10th passed having age between 18 to 28 years.
• To be eligibile for for assistant engineer post, you must must have passed bachelor degree in engineering with at least 55% marks. Also, your age must be between 21 to 30 years.
• While for judicial post, you must have completed bachelor course in Law with at least 55% marks. And, your age should be between 21 to 30 years.

As you have done BA in English Literature, so you can apply for Clerk post only.

RTO exams are conducted by PSC of each states. So, you will have to check PSC official site of your state and check notifications regarding RTO exam.

The recruitment for the post of RTO is recruited by the State Public Service Commission

RTO Clerk Eligibility :

Candidates must be Indian
Candidates must be complete Graduation from a recognized University
Candidates age limit between 18 to 37 years

RTO Sub Assistant Eligibility :

Candidates must be Indian
Candidates must be complete Graduation from a recognized University
Candidates age limit between 18 to 34 years

RTO Engineering Eligibility :

Candidates must be Indian
Candidates must be complete Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical )
Candidates age limit between 18 to 32 years
