Re: Can I appear in JEE 2016 if I clear by second chance compartmental?
No , you are not eligible for JEE Main and JEE Advanced in 2016 . A candidate with biology as subject in 11th and 12th is not eligible for the exam.
Only candidate with Maths,Physics,Chemistry can appear in JEE. But you are eligible to appear in AIPMT. |

Re: Can I appear in JEE 2016 if I clear by second chance compartmental?
If you can clear the compartment exams then surely you can appear for JEE in 2016. It doesn't matter whether you clear in first attempt or second if you have cleared it then its enough for you to become eligible for it.
Therefore, don't worry about it and try to clear the compartment exam in this chance so that you don't face any issues later. |

Re: Can I appear in JEE 2016 if I clear by second chance compartmental?
The eligibility criteria for the Joint Entrance Examination 2016:
~~Candidate must have done 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and at least 50% aggregate. You must not have failed in any subject of the qualifying exam. ~~The minimum age limit is 17 years. At present, your status is that you have one compartmental, so you are not eligible for the JEE unless you clear this subject with at least passing percentage. Therefore there is no chance to apply for the JEE 2016. |
