What is the minimum percentage required to get admission in fashion designing college? Can someone please let me know the information on what is the minimum eligibility criteria they will look for? It would be helpful if someone can give me the answer soon.

Fashion designing is a art of application of design and aesthetic or natural beauty to clothing and accessories .

It provide foundation in term of design sense,conceptualization,independent research ,creative application and individual artistic expressions.

In fashion designing course ,it depends on the students to choose their area of interest and are guided by the mentors/teacher to sharpen their idea in the college they study.

Fashion designing is a 4 year undergraduate program .
To get apply for admission , students need to have 12th /equivalent degree in any disciple with minimum of 50% marks.

The eligibility criteria required to get admission in fashion designing course are following:-

-The candidate should have passed 12th class of 10+2 pattern of education system in any discipline from a recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination.

-There is no minimum percentage criteria for admission in fashion designing course but, a candidate should try to secure at least 50% marks in 12th exam.

-The candidate age should not be more than 23 years.However,there is age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

-The fashion designing colleges conduct their own entrance exam separately.

-The Admission for Fashion Designing course is based on the Entrance Examination score and 12th board Examination . So,to get admission for Fashion Designing course in a reputed university,a candidate has to secure good percentage of marks in the Entrance Examination and 12th board Examination .

Eligible for all UG and PG students , there is no minimum percentage you must clear the all subjects .

Minimum eligibility for undergraduate is 50% marks and for the post graduate courses in fashion designing is graduate degree.
In most of the Institutes admission is merit based - through written test , situation test group discussion and interview. These courses are aimed at understanding Concepts related to constume, jewellery etc.
