What is the minimum qualification required to apply for CA's IPCC stage?

My CGPA is 2.43 in B.Com from St. Xavier's College of autonomous, Kolkata out of 4. Am I eligible for direct admission in Chartered Accountancy's IPPC? If yes, then when and how can I apply?

Default Re: What is the minimum qualification required to apply for CA's IPCC stage?

You can join CA IPCC (Integrated Professional Competence Course) through two routes which are discussed below :-

* CPT route :- In this case you have to first complete Stage I of CA course i.e; Foundation course in CA, by qualifying CPT (Common Proficiency Test) after completion of your Class 12th and then you can register for the CA IPCC course.

* Direct entry to IPCC :- In this case, you can directly join IPCC by exempting Stage I course. But, for this case, you are required to have completed your graduation degree in Commerce stream with 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognised university. For graduates in anyother stream, minimum marks required in graduation degree is 60%.

So, having completed your B.Com degree course with above mentioned grade points, you are eligible to directly register for CA IPCC if your grade points is equivalent to at least 55%.

For details and FAQs related to CA course, you can log on to the link www.icai.org.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
