Let you inform that the important dates for the National defense academy examinations are already over for the year 2013.The notifications for the NDA I and NDA II for the year 2014 are declared by the UPSC .

Here is the details of the notification containing exam date and starting of registration:

NDA I:

Date of notification:21/12/2013

Last date of receiving application:20/01/2014

Date of examination:20/04/2013

NDA II :

Date of notification:21/06/2014

Last date of receiving application:21/07/2014

Date of examination:28/092014

Before applying for the NDA exams ,you must ensure that whether you satisfy the eligibility criteria or not:

>>You must have done your 10+2 from a recognized board or if you are appearing for it in 2014 then you can also give this exam.

>>The age limit is 16.5-19 years.No relaxations applicable to anyone.

>>You must be unmarried male Indian citizen.

>>You must be physically and mentally fit .

The examination pattern for NDA is :

You can apply at the www.upsconline.nic.in when the registration starts.You can also applying in offline mode by purchasing application form from post office.

The address for sending application forms is at Delhi not in Mumbai and it is :

NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year. NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings:-Indian Air Force , Indian Navy and Indian Army .

Educational Qualification : -

Only 12th standard candidate are applicable for NDA exam.Marks is not required for NDA exam .In 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics are applicable for all wings .Non Physics and Mathematics are applicable for Indian Army . Final year of 12th standard are applicable .

NDA Stands for National Defense Academy Examination. It is the duty of the Union Public Service Commission to conduct the NDA Examination twice every year.

The NDA Exam conducted in the month of April is known as the NDA-I Exam whereas the Exam conducted in the month of August is known as the NDA-II Exam.

Through the NDA Examination , candidates who have completed Higher Secondary can join the National Defense Academy in any of the below mentioned wings :

* Indian Army

* Indian Navy

* Indian Air Force

The Union Public service Commission has already conducted the NDA Examinations for the year 2013 and also has released the dates regarding the NDA Exams to be conducted in the year 2014.

## Important Date Regarding NDA-I Exam 2014 :

* Date Of Notification : 21/12/2013

* Last Date For Receipt Of Applications : 20/01/2014

* Date Of Examination : 20/04/2014

## Important Date Regarding NDA-II Exam 2014 :

Only those candidate can apply for the NDA Exam , who fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the UPSC for the NDA Exam.

The Eligibility Criteria for NDA Exam are :

** The candidate must have completed 12th with PCM from any recognized board.

** Candidates appearing in std. 12th can also appear for the NDA Exam.

** The age of the candidate must lie in between 16.5-19 years.

** No Relaxation in upper age is given to any candidate.

** The Candidate must be an Indian Citizen or a subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan.

** The candidate must be a male as female candidates are not allowed to appear for the same.

** The candidate must be unmarried.

** The candidate must be mentally and physically strong.

For Army wing: You have to pass class 12 exam or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

For Air Force and Naval Wings: You have to pass class 12 with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

If you are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination then also you can apply for this examination.

Age Criteria:-

Your age should be between 16 and 19.5 years when applying for this examination.

Exam Pattern:-

The written exam consists of mostly objective type of questions. There are two parts in the exam. The Part A is the mathematics paper and Part B is the general ability test.

For each paper you will get 2.5 hours. For Part A 300 marks have been allotted and for Part B 600 marks have been allotted. The part B paper is set in both English and Hindi.
