OAS eligibility :

Educational qualififcation ;
>>All the candidates must complete bachelor's degree
>>The candidates must complete the degree from a recognied university by central government
>>Or the foreign university recognised by the central univerity

AGE ;
>>The candidates must complete 21 years age
>>The candidates age must also be less than 32 years

Age relaxations ;
>>For BC category the relaxation of age is given as 3 years
>>For Sc, ST the age realxation is 5 years
>>For women and ex - service men the age relaxation is given for 5 years

Number of attempts for OAS :
>>The number of attempts is given according to category wise

OC's = 4 times
BC's = 7 times
SC, ST = no restriction

OPSC means Orissa Public Service Commission which organize so many examinations in different fields like-

OAS
OJS
OCS and so on....

Exam pattern:

This examination is divided in to three parts

1)Preliminary exam

2)Main exam

3)Interview or Personality test

As you want to get the syllabus of Orissa Civil Services(preliminary) examination.

Syllabus contains the following Subjects.

This exam conducted by OPSC. OPSC means Orissa Public Service Commission once in a year.

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality:

You should have Indian Citizenship.

Educational Qualification:

You should complete the graduation with any stream from any recognized University.

There is no percentage marks required for this exam.

Final year pursuing candidates are also eligible for this exam.

Age limit:

The candidate minimum age limit above 21 years.

The candidate minimum age limit is below 30 years.

The upper age relaxation is applicable for other candidates.

3 years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates.

5 years upper age relaxation for SC\ST candidates.
