I wanted to know about the Opening and closeing ranks in aieee..can you tell where can I find them

The term Opening Rank and Closing Rank means the minimum and maximum rank (AIR)
at which a particular branch in a particular college is filled.

The opening and closing rank of AIEEE for previous years are available on the
Central Counseling Board's website.

the ranks in the aieee are made regarding to the marks obtained to a perticular student. the first rank is the highest score of exam. for a college, the highest scoring student holds a first rank. that said to be opening rank.accordingly, on completing admission cuota, the lowest scorin student holds closing rank.

select your stream and then fill Round no, college name and stream you find opening and closing rank of the college.

Opening rank means the rank at which being the branch is allotted

and the closing rank means the rank at which the closed the branch

allotted. This is also known as cut-off marks.

AIEEE entrance exam is the most famous entrance exam among the

engineering student. Every year a large number of candidates appear in

the AIEEE exam to test their fate but the seat is limited so competition

becomes very tough. AIEEE-2011 is over and it is the time for the

counselling of AIEEE. The counselling of AIEEE is done by Central Counselling Board.

Opening and Closing Ranks In AIEEE

The rank in various colleges varies every year..and every year..they have a new cut-off..but you can broadly have an idea of the top colleges by the opening and closing ranks that it takes in various streams..

There are many top colleges under AIEEE like NITs,BITS Mesra,PEC,DTU,NSIT,etc..

It varies year to year. But there is no fixed limit in ranking in AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination). There are two types of ranking in AIEEE : one is all india ranking and another is state ranking. In the basis of all India ranking 5% of them can make enter in the JEE examination.

So basically there is no fixed ranking in AIEEE.

The 10th All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance Examination (AIEEE 2012) already complete for the year 2011.

The 11th All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance Examination (AIEEE 2012) for admission to various NITs, IIITs, deemed Universities and for few States is proposed to be held by Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi on 29th April, 2012 (Sunday) for admission in B.E/ B.Tech and B.Arch/ B.Planning. The detailed information will also be available on AIEEE website i.e.www.aieee.nic.in in due course. This year, CBSE is planning to conduct online exam on mass scale. Students are advised to acquaint themselves.

It is totally depend upon the how much student takes admission through the AIEEE rank.

If you rank in between 10,000 you will get better chance.

I have 14 marks and my all over india rank is 812349 and state rank is 11059 will i get a collage for councling

hi sr,im in sc category.my air is 453192 will 9i get college for councilling

OR and CR of AIEEE are different for different colleges.
However, if a candidate has got rank less than 20,000 then, he/she will surely get admission in good college.

i am a student from Kerala and my state wise category rank is 7062.Pls tell me whether i am having any chance for getting an admission in NIT Calicut.
