What are the opportunities available after doing PG in Psychiatry after MBBS?
i am interested in doing my post graduation in psychiatry after my mbbs. so i would like to know the available opppurtunities

If you are interested in the psychiatry field you must certainly take it up as a specialisation. There are various specialisations like Addiction psychiatry, Neuropsychiatry, Child Pyschiatry. It will be good if you join either Government or Private Hospital. If you choose addiction psychiatry the it will be better to associate with some hospital as for these cases it is important to have the patients stay back for treatment. There is huge demand for specialisation in this field so career progression will certainly be there.

my dear friend you can get the post of HOD in colleges after PG.
you can also go into government hospital... you can get entry into best hospitals of india and abroad,,,,, \ all the very best
