Hello friend,
The CPT, conducted by ICAI, comprises of 200 marks. The Paper is divided into two sessions and each session is sub-divided into two sections. The Qualifying marks for CPT is 50%, i.e. 100 marks. For further information, you may refer to the official website of ICAI. |

After passing 10+2 in any of arts/science/commerce you can apply CA-CPT.
If you are graduate you can apply for executive course of CS directly. You can apply for CA-CPT under any one of the following conditions: B.com with 50% or more marks. Graduation in any stream without maths 55% or more marks. Graduation in any stream with maths 60% or more marks. Refer: www.icai.org www.icsi.in all the best. |

C.P.T is the entrance exam for C.A. He must pass the CPT exam inorder to do CA. It is conducted for 200 marks. Out of 200 the pass marks is 100 and above. The CPT exam is conducted twice in a year in the months June and December on 19th. |

CPT exams or Common Profiency tests are held in June and December each year Next CPT exams would be held in December 2013 Forms for this exam would be filled in October 2013 Candidates who have appeared in class 12th exam or have passed class 12th exam can apply In the CPT exams questions are asked from the below sections: Fundamentals of accounting Mercantile LAWS General Economics Quantitative Aptitude All the questions are asked in objective mode only Candidates scoring minimum 50% marks are declared as pass There are negative markings of .25 for each incorrect answer. Fees for CPT Registration is: Application Form-Rs 100 CPT registration fees-Rs 6000 Total Rs 6100 CPT exams fees-Rs 1000 |
