Re: Minimum marks required to pass CPT exam of december?
Hello,
See Common Proficiency Test or CPT tests are held for the admission in chartered accountancy course. Now for this if you are just higher secondary degree holder then you will be able to participate in the examination. If you clear CPT with 50% or more marks, then only you will be recruited as the CA candidate. Now clearing CPT is easier. It includes mercantile laws, general economics, aptitude and accounts. The question pattern is of objective type. But after this the main course of CA has two parts part 1 and 2. This main course is very much difficult and people have a lot of difficulty in clearing this. So you need to study hard for this. |

Re: Minimum marks required to pass CPT exam of december?
Hi Friend......
As far as the eligibility criteria for the Common Proficiency Test is concerned, there is no percentage criteria, which means if you have qualified higher secondary level, you are eligible for the test no matter how much you scored in the exam. And if your question is related to minimum marks required to qualify the common proficiency test, it is 50%. The test comprise of a total of 200 marks, out of which, you need to score a minimum of 100 marks, i.e. 50% to qualify it. The Total marks of 200 is distributed as follow ** Fundamental of Accountants - 50 marks ** Mercantile law - 50 marks ** Economics - 50 marks ** Statistics - 50 marks Note : Negative marks for every wrong answer i.e. 0.25 all the best....... Regards........ Tash |
