NDA Stands for National Defence Academy examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year as namely NDA I and NDA II .

NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings:

• Indian Air Force
• Indian Navy
• Indian Army

If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department you are applicable for NDA exam.Commerce student are applicable for only Indian Army branch.NDA exam not require any kind of percentage marks in 12th standard.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for any reserved category .Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.You must have citizenship of India.

There will be written Examination for total of 900 marks in two Subjects-

2. General Ability Test - Maximum marks is 600 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs

Medical test and Physical test conducted by SSB so prepare well the below given criteria.They will conduct the medical and physical test with taking 5 days .So you must stay there in 5 days.

The physical eligibility criteria is given below-

HEIGHT AND WEIGHT=>



CHEST=>

Minimum requirement is 84cm and they should be able to expand the chest for 5cm.

EYE-SIGHT=>




Additional Requirements :-
  • Running : 2 to 4 Km. in 15 minutes
  • Skipping
  • Pushups : Minimum 20 each Sit-ups
  • Chin ups : Minimum 08
  • Rope Climbing : 3 to 4 meters.

Physical Qualification For NDA is:

>> Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination as per guidelines given :

Wax (Ears), Deviated Nasal Septum, Hydrocele/Phimosis, Overweight/Underweight,Under sized Chest,Piles,Gynaecomastia,Tonsillitis,Varicocele.

>> The candidate must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease/disability which is likely in interfere with the efficient performance of military duties.

>> There should be no evidence of weak constitution, bodily defects or under weight. The candidate should not be overweight or obese.

NDA entry :- National Defense Academy
As per educational Qualification , You are eligible but you should also qualify physical stands.

The admission is based on Entrance exam followed by Physical test which is followed by an interview

The eligibility criteria is as given:-

-->You should be a citizen of India
( If any person from other country like Bhutan,Sri Lanka etc. is an aspirant he should have come to India before 1962 with an objective to permanently settle in India)

-->Your age should be 16 1/2 years to 19 years and there is no relaxation given for any candidates
Candidates born not earlier than 02nd July, 1994 and not later than 01st January, 1997 are eligible

-->You should have completed your +2 in any stream from recognised board or University.
Candidates who have to appear for +2 exams are also eligible for NDA

-->Only Unmarried male candidates are allowed to appear for NDA after +2.

Note:- (If you are a girl then you can apply for NDA only after completing your graduation from any recognized board or university.)
You should be Physically as well as Medically fit for the Examination ( All the physical standards should be as described below)


Fees :-
Candidates (excepting SC/ST candidates/sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs who are exempted from payment of fee) have to make a payment of Rs.50/- either by cash or by net banking in any Branch of SBI bank.


How to apply: Candidates are required to apply online by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in

Selection Process:-
Two stage test includes first stage, Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test at Selection Centers/Air Force Selection Boards.
If the aspirant gets minimum qualifying marks then he would be called for II Stage.
Those candidates who qualify stage II will be required to submit the original certificates along with one photocopy each of
(I) original Matriculation pass certificate or equivalent in support of date of birth,
(II) original 10+2 pass certificate or equivalent in support of educational qualification


Examination Pattern Scheme :-
-->The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows :–



-->The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questions only. The question papers (Test Booklets) OF MATHEMATICS AND PART "b" OF GENERAL ABILITY TESTS WILL BE SET BILINGUALLY IN HINDI AS WELL AS English.

-->The candidates are not permitted to use calculator or Mathematical or logirithmic table for answering objective type papers (Test Booklets). They should not therefore, bring the same inside the Examination Hall.

-->Candidates must write the papers in their own hand. In no circumstances will they be allowed the help of a scribe to write answers for them.

The Physical standards for NDA are given below :-






A ± 10% (A ± 6 Kg for Navy) departure from the average weight given in the table 1 above is to be considered within normal limit. However, in individuals with heavy bones and broad build as well as individuals with thin but otherwise healthy this may be relaxed to some extent on merit.

Note 1 : Height relaxable upto 2.5 cm (5 cm. for Navy) may be allowed where the Medical Board certifies that the candidate is likely to grow and come up to the required standard on completion of his training.

Note 2 : To meet special requirement as a pilot in the Air Force the acceptable measurements of leg length,

Hello Dear,
Nice to see that you are Interested to Join Indian Army, But you have not mentioned your Qualification in your Question, But Dont worry because Here I am Providing you the Necessary Requirements to Join Indian Army, You can Join Army by these Examinations :

>> National Defence Academy Examination
>> Combined Defence Academy Examination
>> 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme
>> University Entry Scheme

If you have completed your +2 Examination in any stream from a recognised Board, then you are eligible for Army wings of NDA, But for this your age should between 16.5 to 19 Years, No upper age relaxation is applicable for any candidates.

If you have completed your Graduation then you can apply for CDS Examination to Join Indian Military Academy, To apply for CDS Examination your age should between 19 to 25 Years.

Both NDA and CDS Examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year. Eligible candidates may fill the application form Online Only.

If you have scored minimum 70% Marks with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects, then you are eligible for Technical Entry scheme of Army.

Those who have completed his Engineering graduate degree course are eligible for University Entry Scheme.

Physical Requirements :

>> You must be in good physical and mental health and free from anydisease
>> The minimum acceptable height for male candidates is 157.5 cms.
>> For Women candidates minimum acceptable height is 152 cms.
>> You should be able to read 6/6 in a distant vision chart with each eyewith or without glasses
>> Myopia should not be more than 3.5D and hypermetropia not more than3.5D including Astigmatism.

So, If you have fulfill the above criteria then you can join Indian Army, You can apply for NDA (I) Examination before last date i.e on 30/Jan/2012.

If you have completed your Graduate degree course then please apply for CDS (II) Examination after declaring the Notification and if you need more Information then check official website :

hi friend,

you can join indian army after completing 12th, then you have to apply for NDA,
NDA (National defence acadamy)
conducted by upce twice in year in
month june and december.

Here is
eligibility:

A candidate should have completed 12th
from recognise board.


Age limit should be between 16.5 to 19
years and only unmarried male can
apply.

The selection procedure for NDA exam
is :

-Written Test.

-Personal
Interview.

you have prepare your GK knowledge and Mathematics for cracking this exam
by continue practise.


Additional Requirements:
