Sir,I am an H.s 1st year Arts student.I am very much interested to join Indian Army as an officer.Can you tell me how can i prepare for NDA examinations and what should i study?Also tell me the physical needs required to join NDA?My height is 163 cm.Is my height acceptable to join NDA?

Information Regarding NDA Examination.

NDA Examination is conducted by the UPSC in every year for the admission in the Indian Navy, Indian Army and Air Force wing of NDA. This exam conducted twice in a year. Once in the month of April and other in the month of August in every year.

As per your question you are a arts stream student so you are eligible only for the Army wings of NDA because for other wing you need pass 12th with science stream. So, you are eligible only for the Army wing.

Do preparation with the syllabus. Details syllabus information is available on the official website of UPSC. Every year a large number of aspirant appear in this exam to test their fate but seat is limited so competition become really hard. So, if you want to crack this exam then do hard work.

The physical standard must be according to the below given chart..please see the below physical standard chart.

All you need to be is to pass the class 12 exams from a recognized board.
For other wings you must have passed your class 12 with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects.

iam studying inter 2nd year my subject is commerce i dont have science so any problem nd what are the qualifications for nda officer can you please give me suggetion.

As you say you are student of arts of 12th ,so you will be eligible for NDA but only for Army wings,because other stream like-NAVY AIR FORCE requires 12th passed with science main as PCM(physics,chemistry,math).so you can only apply for ARMY WINGS.
In your 12th class ,there is three main subject except Hindi,and English,so you should try to study carefully.you can also find syllabus for it by searching website:[COLOR="Sandy Brown"]www.upsc.gov.in [/COLOR].your height is good .you should be physically fit.
