What is the selection procedure for admission in the mechanical stream for under graduates? I mean the eligibility for enrollement. Eg- class 12 % or any other entrances are held particularly?

Yes, to pursue the undergraduate in the engineering course you need to clear the entrance examination to get the admission in the best colleges.

There are various entrance examination which you can appear to qualify for the admission in the best colleges are :-
* JEE.
* BITSAT.
* COMEDK
* SRMJEE.
* WBJEE.
* UPTU.

For all these examination you need to have passed the 10+2 from the recognised board with the PCM as the main subjects .

The examination paper contains the questions of Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics. The application form for the examination are available in the month of January to April every year.
