The eligibility criteria required to become a Custom Officer are following:-
- UPSC conducts civil services exam for recruitment in Indian Revenue Services(Customs and Central Excise). - The candidate must be an Indian. - The qualification required to sit for the exam is graduation degree from a recognized university.The student in the final year of their degree course can also sit in the exam. - The candidate age should be in between 21 years to 30 years.However, there is relaxation in upper age limit for the reserved categories candidates as per the norms of the Government. - The selection procedure comprises of * Civil Services Aptitude Test(CSAT) *Civil Services Main Exam *Personality Test. |
