sir, My name is Vikas Maurya.
I completed my intermediate with 61%. i am 19 and 1/2 years old. i want to join Indian Army in Technical field. Will you please tell me how can i join it.

Sir i will be very gratefulle to you if you please tell me how to join Indian Army and when can i get the Application form of Indian Army.


There is one more question i want to ask, can i join Open Indian Army Railly from Madhya Pradesh. though i am the inhabitant of Uttar Pradesh.

For application to indian army in technical field,you have the eligibility criteria like 60% marks in your inter exam and other physical criteria like height,weight,chest etc.You can apply in indian army by online as well as offline mode.You can apply offline by purchasing the application form from the market and fill the form and send it to the army headquarter.By online mode you can logged into the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in

Hello dear,
For the entry in indian army technical field,wait for the UPSC advertisement in employment news/rozgar samachar/UPSC website or you can aplly online also.Now when you have filled the form,the indian army will conduct an exam or a PI on the basis of it they will shorlist the candidates and these candidates are called for the ssb interviews which include 5days selection stages.It includes physical,aptitude,picture perception and discussion of it and many other.

Dear Aspirant,


You can join Indian Army in Two ways:

1. Through NDA
2. Through CDS

Since, your age is 19 1/2 then you are not eligible for NDA exam so, you have to apply for CDS Examination.......

CDS stands for Combined Defense Service this exam is conducted by UPSC every year......

Qualification Require:

>> A candidate must have completed their Graduation in any Discipline from Recognized Universities OR Equivalent Course.......

Age Limit:

1. For Indian Military Academy : 19-24 Years
2. For Air Force Academy : 19-23 Years
3. For Naval Academy : 19-22 Years
4. For Officers’ Training Academy :19-25 Years.

Age limite:

• Indian Military Academy : 19-24 Years
• Air Force Academy : 19-23 Years

one can join in Indian Army if he fullfills all the conditions
Army people gains more respect from everyone.one should feel proud to be an indian army

* candidate need to apply for towards the notifications

*Then he must wait for the call,..or else you must submit your documents in the particular army campus as per the requirements

*then you will be getting the date for the written test and for the events like running 800 metres and 100 metres,long jump and high jumps,etc..

*you have to pass all the events or atleast 80% in all the events..

*Before you go to the events one should know whether he is eligible or not in the height,weight,chest etc...

*candidate should be passed 10th from any recognised Board

*candidate should be b/w 171/2 - 23 years

*candidate should be minimum 150cms of height.

*chest with an expansion of 5cms

After writing CDS exam for Short Service Commission, officers get commissioned into the various Arms and Services of the Indian Army after 49 weeks training. For the eligibility part, they need to be a graduate to apply. According to the revised conditions of Service of SSCOs (Men and Women both Technical and Non-Technical), tenure of Short Service Commission in Army will be granted for 14 years. On completing two years’ service, they pick up the rank of Captain followed by Major on completion of 6 years’ service. After 13 years of service, they pick up the rank of LT.Col.

There are basically two entrances for going into the army.
NDA
CDS

Both the exams conducted by the Upsc every year. But As you are telling that you are 19.5 years so you can not go for the NDA exam.You can now give the CDS exam.

The basic eligibility criteria for this exam for the army field is, to have a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognised university with good percentile in aggregate.

Also the appearing aspirant's age must lie in between 19 years to 24 years to be completely eligible for this exam.

Sir am passed 2nd pu with 53% but in maths i have 36 marks can i able to join indian army in technical department ? plz tell me sir....

The eligibility criteria are mention below:
1)Soldier(General duty)-The age requirement for this post is 17.5-21 years and candidate must have passed 10th with 45% aggregate .
2)Soldier(Technical)-The age requirement for this post is 17.5-23 years and candidates must passed senior secondary in any discipline with 50% aggregate and 40% in each subject .
Selection procedure for it are various entrance exams like NDA, Indian military academy, UPSC etc.
