what is the the proccess for studying direct 2nd year in engineering?

The only way to enter directly into second year of engineering is through Lateral Entry Entrance test. Diploma candidates are eligible for LEET examination. LEET examination is conducted by various state technical universities.

For LEET examination, a candidate must have scored 60% or more in diploma. After that you need to apply for this exam, examination forms are released in April to May of every year and examination is generally held in June.

Those who clear the exam, can take direct admission in second year of engineering of respected technical universities.
