There is no common entrance test for that as the requirements are company specific.
All such notifications essentially come in the weekly "Employment News ''

PSU means public section undertaking which are government controlled companies or industries. You have to be a Undergraduate or diploma holder or POST-GRADUATE to apply for PSU's.

PSU’s stands for PUBLIC SECTOR UNDERTAKING

Eligibility criteria for applying in PSU’s

•Degree- B.E/B.Tech/B.sc required.

•Final year students are also eligible to apply but they are needed to show the result upto 8th semester at the time of interview.

•Minimum cut-off percentage varies for different companies but generally it is 60-70% for general category students and 50-60% for reserved category students.

•Some companies like NTPC allows only current final year students and last two years pass outs .

For eligibility criteria of different companies like-HPCL, HAL, NTPC e.t.c , please visit the file attached by me at the end.

psu means public sector undertaking or public sector unit like DRDO, BHEL, NTPC etc. The eligibity for different public sector is different. The recruit various candidate from engineerin to clerk. The eligibility aare available with the notificarion in the website.

So, Any Company In Which Government Is A Owner Or Major Shareholder Is Called Public Sector Undertaking (PSU).

I think you should visit particular websites for which you want to give exam
Like if you want to give examination in Indian Oil then you should visit Indian Oil website for details

Second I think you should search on the internet by browsing key word
"GOVERNMENT JOBS IN INDIA"

This will show various websites which show various jobs in Govt & PSU sectors
So you will not only find job detail but that psu/govt website name also
and if there is a job then there must be exam which details would be given in that govt/psu sector website

I think you will be satisfied upto some extent...................................

The full form of PSU is public sector undertakings.In simple words,the sector under the government.Anyone can apply for PSU who has reqisite qualification and degree in the respective field according to the said post.

PSU stands for Public Sector Undertaking. These basically are the companies operating in various fields. The difference is that unlike private companies, PSU are controlled by government of India.

Indian government owns at least 51 percent stake in such companies. This is minimum stake required to keep the control over the company. There are more than 150 such companies in the country.

Unfortunately there isn't any common exam conducted by the PSUs. Each will issue a separate notification for the jobs. The notification is published on the leading newspapers as well employment dailies in the country. The notification specifies the vacancies for each branch of Engineering. Therefore before applying for the job, please ensure there are vacancies for your engineering stream.

The exam pattern is as following:

1) Written Test

2) Interview

But not all companies conduct written test. Some like candidates to appear for GATE exam and submit their score at the time of interview. Therefore it is advised that you should appear for the GATE exam before applying for the PSU job.

In order to apply for job, you must meet the following criteria.


Eligibility

1. Candidate should be Indian citizen.

2. B.Tech degree from any recognized university.

3. At least 60 percent marks in engineering.

4. A valid GATE score is also required in some cases.

5. There should be no pending backlogs.

6. Age limit is 21 to 30 years.

7. Age limit is relaxed for OBC by 3 years.

8. Age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST.
