What is the qualification for CBI officer?...could u please provide me the details

Qualifications required for becoming a CBI officer?

Hello Dear Friend .....



C.B.I --- CENTRAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION


You must have a Graduation from a recognized university

And the minimum age must be " 20 " years


Maximum age is allowed up to " 27 " years


Both MALE and FEMALE candidates are eligible to apply for the Position


To become CBI officer you must crack the below Entrance exam


"" COMBINED GRADUATE PRELIMINARY EXAM "" ( C.G.P.E )


Generally this exam is Conducted by the " Staff selection Commission " every year

You must have secured a minimum of 55% in your Academics

CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation .

To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

Graduation degree from recognized university are applicable for CBI exam this exam not require any percentage marks in graduation degree.

Age criteria :-

a. 18 to 27 years For Inspectors or CE and Div. Acctts or Auditors or UDCs
b. 20 to 27 years for Assistant Grade & SIs in CBI
c. 20 to 25 years for SIs in CPOs

The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.
