I want to know about what qualification are required for Sub inspector of Assam police?

A Graduation in any field is the minimum qualification required to apply for the post of Sub Inspector in Assam police. The graduation can be in any area. Only Indian nationals can apply for this post. You should be between 21- 30 years to apply for this position. You should also possess certain physical standards regarding height, weight, chest etc. The selection for this post will be based on written test followed by a physical test and personal interview.

Can matriculated become a sub inspector in assam

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SI ;

You should be an Indian.

And you should have graduate from recognized university.

Age limit 21-28 years.

Age re;axation is OBC :- 21-33 yrs,SC/ST :- 21-35 yrs.

Selection process :

And you should pass the examination conducted by central government or any state government.

And should qualify in physical test also. Only qualified candates only apply for examination.

Physical test :

Candidate male : height :168cm , Chest : 84cm

For female : Height : 152cm , weight : 47.5 kg.

Chest :
For General and Hiils Area : 80 cms and 5 cms expanded
For SC/ST : 77 cms and 5 cms expanded

Race:

100 mtrs in 16 seconds
1.6 kms in 6.5 minuts

Jump:

Long Jumps: 3.65 mtrs in 3 chances
High Jumps : 1.2 mtrs in 3 chances
shot puts : 4.5 mtrs in 3 chances

Medical:

Eye Sight:
Distant Vision 6/6 and 6/9 two eyes without corrections

This exam is conducted by the "" UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION ""


And the minimum age must be 21 years

Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

You must be Physically Good

You must be an Indian Citizen

~>165 cm height for men and 150 cm height for women & 5 cm height relaxation for SC/ST category candidates

Dear friend yes you are eligible to apply Police Sub Inspector exam to passing Graduation degree from a recognized Board.

Eligibility criteria:-

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

Age should be between 20 years to 25 years for General category candidates.

Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years

And SC/ST category candidates 5 years.

Physical Requirements :

**A initial 5 kilometer run which should be completed in 25 minutes (* impossible without practice)

**A long jump in which a candidate should jump a distance of 3.80 meters (* easy)

**A 100 meter sprint which should be completed in 15 seconds. (* easy)

**An 800 meter run which should be completed in 170seconds (* easy).

**A high jump in which a jump of 1.2 meters is required (* practice) and

**A shot put throw which should be thrown a distance of 5.60 meters (* practice makes it easy)

Selection Process:

**Through a series of physical ability tests followed by a written test.

• Eligibility Criteria – Candidates can apply online application form before last date of applying , candidates need these eligibility criteria –
• Educational Qualification – 10+2
• Height – 5’-6”
• Chest – 31’*32”
• Selection Procedure – ASSAM Police recruitment tests will be consisting of the following –
• 1500 meter Race in 6 minute and 30 seconds
• High Jump – 1.25 meter (Max. three attempts are allowed)
• Board Jump – 4 Meters (Max. three attempts are allowed)
• Age – 18 to 22 years , age relaxations according to the government rules.
