what are the scope available for a Network Engineer.

I'm very interesting in Networking .......

Network Engineers can find jobs in software and hardware servicing firms like Aricent, Flextronics etc. One can find jobs in telecom companies like Airtel, Idea, etc and also in telecom equipment manufacturing firms like Cisco. Career openings can be searched in IT firms dealing with setting and maintaining of networks. Network solution providers like Kinetic Networks, IBM, etc also recruits skillful professionals in networking. After gaining about 10 years of work experience, you can get in to the role of Technical Lead or Senior Manager.

what is difference between network design and network engineering?

i m complete my BCA and m intrested in net working so pls tell me what is the scope or salry in hardware & networking.

I am a B.Tech graduate-2012 passed out and rite now am working as a Software Engineer-Testing Domain with Capgemini India. Actually am looking for a change of domain,most preferably in the the networking arena. So can anyone tell me the scope of networking in the future.? Please suggest..

my name is savitri dwivedi i had don my BSc(IT) . my programing is veary weak , i want know about network engneering .becouse I gonna tancet entrance examination for Me/Mtech could you tell me how to prpeare for tancet and also tell me scope of networking

Definitely the network is vast subject. So you have a bright future because all organizations these days employ LAN system of computers with one administrator server and rest branch networks. Therefore, network engineers are most required in such organizations. Also, broadband connections for locality need LAN administrators where network engineers again come into play.

Now days Networking and Hardware is a great career field. You can easily get a entry to any company on the basis of your prior experience, and some certification courses. You may take up Networking & Hardware courses from Institutes like IIHT, Red Hat LINUX, New Horizons, NIIT etc. The good and reputed institutes also offer placement Assistance. You can start with something at least as for now. You background will not be a problem as people coming in H/W and networking line are from different background.
