what is the scope of biotechnology in india and abroad? what are their salaries?

Biotechnology is not developed upto the mark in India. There is not much career scope and job opportunities for the candidates in India after completion of Graduation or Post Graduation in Biotechnology.

Coming to Abroad,

I suggest UK for the candidates to get good job opportunities in Biotechnology field.

But the thing is you should be having strong subject knowledge and practical knowledge to get the job and to perform well in the job that you join.

In India, if you want to have good career scope, I suggest you to go for Ph.D or you can apply for the position of Lecturer.

These two are the good ways to get good jobs in India in the field of Biotechnology.

You did not mention the highest level of academic qualification that you have.

The salary that you are going to get depends upon
-the level of company
-your job designation
-the department in which you have to work
and other things.

Many of the organizations will offer a salary in the range of 15K to 35K freshers.

For experienced candidates, they can get 20-30% hike on their previous salary.

If you have completed only Graduation in Biotechnology, then I suggest you to switch to other areas in Post Graduation like MBA to have good career scope.
