What should I do to become an Advocate in High Court?

Hi, I have completed my B.Com. I want to be an Advocate in High Court. So, what should I do now? Should I do LLB? Can I be an Advocate in High Court after completing LLB?

The basic requirements for becoming Advocate in High court is as below;

1. The first requirement is to pursue Bachelor of Law from a recognized university or institute.

Those who have done LLB can apply for All India Bar Council exam to become eligible to do practice. You can register yourself with state Bar coucil.

After some years of practice in lower courts, you can become eligible to represent clients in high courts.

You need to pursue LLB then you must get yourself enrolled with Bar Council of India. Once you registered, you can do practice in any distt courts, High Courts of all states of India and Supreme Court too.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
