Re: What should I do to become aDSP after passing class 12th
DSP means Deputy Superitendant of Police. This is one of the rank of Indian Police Services. It is position below IPS officers. After Promotion DSP becomes IPS officers after some years of Services.
Actually DSPs are state police officers. You can join state police as Inspector and through promotion and departmental exams, you can become DSP. You can also attempt for Indian Police Services through Civil Services examinations. For all this, you must have graduation in any discipline from an UGC recognized university. As you have passed 10+2 only, you are not eligible now for DSP. |
