Hello Sir, I have completed my Intermediate and scored 970 marks out 1000 marks which makes up to 97% in Intermediate. So, now am I eligible to apply for the Telangana Merit Scholarship 2020-21 batch? If yes, then what is the application procedure and what is the amount value of Telangana Merit Scholarship?

Yes, you are eligible for scholarships.
Telangana Scholarship.
The scholarship is open for students belonging to SC/ST/BC/EBC/Disabled welfare categories. They must have passed class 10th with at least 75% attendance at the end of each quarter. The scholarship is applicable for studies at post-matriculation level (class 11 to post-graduation).

Indian Govt scholarships
Ministry of Education has allotted 2,570 scholarships to Telangana for fresh applications for the year 2020-21.
The last date to apply for scholarship is 31 October 2020.

1) MHRD is offering Merit Scholarships to students who wish to pursue higher education after passing the inter examinations held in March this year.
The deadline to apply for this is October 31.
Scholarships are granted to students who have completed intermediate exams. They will be given for five years where the first three years are given at the rate of Rs.10,000 per annum, followed by Rs 20,000 per annum. On the basis of the marks in the inter-examinations conducted in March, the Internal Board has provisionally selected 6,670 students. Only they are eligible to apply for this

2)Telangana National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS):-
-CONDITIONS:-The annual income of the family should be less than INR 1.50 Lakh.
The minimum percentage requirement in class 8th exam is 55% or equivalent (relaxation of 5% is available for SC/ST students).

What should be the minimum score in Intermediate to be eligible for Telangana Merit Scholarship

The minimum marks required to qualify the TS Intermediate Exams 2020 is 30 percent. Students who have appeared for the examination should get above 30 percent in aggregate to qualify the Board examination

The current year 12th pass with 90% above or 75% above for Differently abeled is required to be eligible for Telangana Merit Scholarship.

Vidyadhan Scholarship Program -

Scholarship Value - Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 60,000 per annum for graduation and postgraduation courses.
