A starting salary of 1.8 to 2 lakhs can be expected. It will all depend on your qualifications. It is advisable for you to pursue courses in ERP or SAP FICO for better prospects. You should try to secure jobs in the core areas i.e. cost accountancy. Joining manufacturing companies will be beneficial. You can set up costing systems.

I am Chayan Banerjee. i studies in 11 commerce in k.v dibrugarh. i have choosen i.p(it is a subject based on computer) as an elective subject and not maths.it is said that maths is required in commerce and 4 bttr jobs.bt ol the jobs relatd 2 commerce r ca cs icwa and others accountant jobs nd this jobs r based on accountancy,bussiness mathematics,economics,statistics and computer...bt y it is said that maths is required in commerce????????????

how we crack cma examination ?

It would be depend upon your past experience,Past Salary,Post, Company status, Location, Interview Performance etc.....if you have experience more than 3 years in Accounts,Audit,Finance.Tax & you have passed CMA final then i hope you can get job more than 4.0 p.a. & if you are fresher then you can get job 2.4 p.a in large organisation whose turnover more than 5 crore.

The salary depends on how well you do in the ICWA course and what kind of company you start work with. The salary levels differ greatly from approx Rs 8000 to Rs 15000 per months for an average ICWA.

However you may understand that the performance of the student during the course makes a lot of difference to the salary.
