I have completed the Needle Work Diploma Course ( 3 years ) from the Lady Brabourne at Suri. It is under the Directorate of School Education. The course is The Lady Brabourne Diploma for the Advancement of Needle Work. Can I fill up the ssc form for Assitant Teacher in the subject Work Education.

its mcq english 30 marks, bengali 30 marks and child psychology 30 marks = total 90 marks (60 marks to qualify for main subject)

dear friend,

Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is conducted every year in Assam, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka and West Bengal. From your question it is clear that you are from West Bengal.

This is compulsory for private school also. If any private school appoint any teacher without TET pass then school’s affiliations from any board will be canceled. The old teachers of Govt. and private school do not need to pass TET exam for continue their job. They will be considered as TET pass candidate if they change their school.

Generally TET examination consists of three papers these are Paper-1, Paper-2 and Paper-3.

Minimum 50% aggregate of a candidate is eligible.

The syllabus consists of the following :

There will be 2 papers with objective multiple choice questions. Each paper will consist of 150 questions. These papers are intended for different levels of teaching as described below:

1. Paper I: For those want to become teachers for classes I-V.
2. Paper II: For those want to teach classes between VI and VIII.
3. Paper I and II: Those interested in teaching from Class I to VIII will
have to appear and qualify in both the papers.

Syllabus for the CTET:

There will be 5 subjects / Sections in Paper I. Each section / subject will have 30 objective multiple choice type questions carrying one mark each. Duration of the exam is one and half hours. Following are the papers:

1. Child development and pedagogy
2. Language I (the medium of instruction)
3. Language II (chosen from a list other than language I)
4. Mathematics
5. Environmental studies
