UPPCS stand for Uttar Pradesh Provincial Civil Services which comprises of various departments and posts under the State of Uttar Pradesh. To be eligible for the UPPCS entrance examination, candidate must hold a bachelors degree of a recognized University. The Minimum eligible age to apply for the exam is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years. The preliminary stage of UPPCS examination comprise of the following syllabus:

Paper - I
Current Events of National and International Importance
History of India and Indian National Movement
Indian and World Geography
Indian Polity and Governance
Economic and Social Development
General Issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio- diversity, and Climate change.

Paper - II
Comprehension
Interpersonal Skill Including Communication Skill
Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability
Decision Making and Problem Solving
General Mental Ability
Elementary Mathematics
General English
General Hindi.

UPPCS - Uttar Pradesh Provincial Civil Services

This basically includes the jobs in various departments and posts in the State of Uttar Pradesh.

The UPPCS Eligibility Criteria says that a candidate should be a minimum graduate or hold a Bachelor Degree.
The age criteria says that the age of the applicant should be within 21-28 years. Some relaxations are there for the OBC/ST/SC..
