B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) Program is offered through two modes:

Regular Mode

• The duration of Bachelor of Education Program offered through Regular Mode is One year. To be eligible for this particular mode, candidate must have completed bachelors degree program with a minimum of 45% marks. However, various universities offering the program considers candidates who have scored 50% or more in the bachelors degree examination.

Distance/Correspondence Mode

• The duration of this program offered through Distance/Correspondence Mode is Two years and to be eligible to purse the course through this mode, candidate must hold a bachelors degree along with a minimum of two years of teaching experience in a recognized school and apart from that, he/she must be presently working as a teacher in similar school (recognized school).

B.Ed. stands for Bachelor of Education. B.ed is an honour degree course in education.

After completing B.Ed. course you can easily get teaching jobs in government & Private sector.


♦ Eligibility condition's for B.ed course:

• You should have qualified Bachelor degree in any stream from recognized college/university.

• You must have securded at least 50% marrks in bachelor degree(45% for ST/SC candidates)

• No limit on Age for B.ed course.

• Duration of B.Ed course- Duration of B.ed Course is 1 year only. The course is divided into 2 semesters.

• To join B.Ed couse you have to appear in entrance exam conducted by many colleges & University for admission to B.ed course.
