The fee of BITS pilani campus is Rs.2.1 lakhs per annum(inclusive of tution fee, hostel, everything).

So the total cost for 4 years will be 2.1x4= Rs.8.4 lakhs

fee structure of BITS pilani
tuition fee: 40,000/- semester
hostel fee: 1,000/- semester
mess fee: 6,000/- semester

total fee of BITS Pilani of a year is 1.4 lacs(approximate)

Hi friend, though you haven't mentioned which institute you've mentioned in the question posted by you, I am assuming that you're talking about BITS since this thread is about BITS itself.
I would like to tell you that direct admission in BITS is not possible. The only two ways for admission in BITS Pilani, Goa or Hyderabad is:

1.On the basis of marks scored in BITSAT exam.
2.Direct admission to board toppers(state and central boards recognized legally).

If you havent appeared for BITSAT or not topped in your respective board, you are NOT eligible to take admission in BITS.
